I think the overall vote (On the club's official Facebook page at least...) is that the fans don't like the shirt.

For me, the sponsor spoils it, the hull college and hull fc logo positioned wrongly spoils it, and the cut-off V spoils it.

5/10 from me....I'll still be getting one like!

Why?

the club puts out a v design once every ten years or so for the home shirt. the last one was in the 2003 season and it sold well

also read somewhere that the logos are not always the finished item at this stage - ie. they are put on quickly to keep the sponsors sweet at the launch. the later shirts feature the proper logo designs. not sure how true this is tho

Hull last had a V on their home shirt in 2010, not 2003.



I much prefer the 2010 version to this new one. I don't like how the Hull FC and Hull Colleges logos go over the vee.

That said, I didn't like last season's away kit when I saw the release, but I ended up getting it after seeing it in person because it looked much better. Hopefully it'll be the same for this one.

what competition will they be in? are they just taking over from the WA Reds?

This will be the kit for the SG Ball side (NSWRL U18's comp). It's possible we may move into the NSW Cup in a couple of years or just wait until the NRL gets its finger out and expands.

You would still have 2 teams with almost identical shirts. Is it too much to ask for 14 teams to have unique kits?
