| Conspiracy theory: Ganson deliberately spent so long deciding if it was a try or not to give Dureau a chance to get his breath back for the touchline conversion

| And what is so good about our sport, in my opinion, is that there was a better try disallowed in the Wakey v Bulls game (perfectly good, ruled off for a forward pass that didnt exist)
What made that try though was the timing, just goes to show a 20 point lead isnt a winning margin. No siree.

Absolutely right - we had our very own wide to West, but it was inexplicably chalked off for a forward pass that never happened; the same thing happened in the first half too - not as spectacular, but another perfectly legal pass classified as forward.
Frustrating.

Oh yes. I'd forgotten about that.
Ok, so we have once nicked a match in the dying seconds since either 2007 or 2008, whichever year it was when we nicked it with a drop goal from Longy against Warrington at KR.

Wasn't Cunningham scoring in the corner from a kick (video ref ignored Brent Grose being tackled mid-air) at the HJ more recent than the late drop-goal winner at KR?

Yep, it's a bizarre swing in refereeing to go from last year where plenty of forward passes went unpenalised, to the start of these season where there have been at least 3 or 4 legitimate passes given as forward.
Ali's pass was awesome though, I miss him already

Even more frustrating having just watched the round-up of this weekend's games, with any number of 'flat' passes going unpenalised.
Ali is a big hit down at BV - he's still got it.

Yep, he's obviously a legend at Leeds and if it weren't for the fact he spent so long on the sidelines the last couple of years we would have re-signed him. Cracking player, sums up what RL is all about in my opinion. Nice fella, tough and amazing skill.

| Just watched it.
Even though I'd read this thread, even though I knew they were going to score, I sat there with my mouth open as it unfolded. Amazing rugby, I wonder if any England RU players were watching, crying into their lager?
THAT was rugby.
