Are we really expected to believe that a bloke who's younger than some of the leeds squad can coach a team of nobodies to a win at headingley and 1st place in the league. One who only started playing when he went to uni in Newcastle and got his coaching start at South London Storm?
Seriously, though, I don't think RL is anywhere near being important enough to Sky in the UK that they would take a stake in a club.'"
Could be a great X files episode

| Is there anything to stop the RFL publishing all the applications after the decision has been made, pointing out where those that failed were marked down, and those that succeeded were scored more highly? It would certainly remove any accusations of bias or unfair practice.
Maybe it would also help to give the clubs who are in danger of missing out the kick up the backside they need to make sure that their applications are as good as they possibly can be?

| Surely Quins will be safe being champions even with 1700 crowds.

| Are they really bound by Commercial Confidentiality, I mean do you know for a fact that both the clubs and the RFL have signed a legally binding Commercial Confidentiality agreement or are you guessing?

I don't know what would be in there that isn't available from companies house or wouldn't likely be published by the clubs anyway. Commercial confidentiality seems a bit unnessesary.

Yet, the pre-occupation with our crowds and finances is rolled out as a reason to boot us out of the comp.
Not a reason to boot them out at the moment, but it is a definite issue. While people on here seem to think that such low crowds is acceptable because of the other sports, difficulty getting across London blah blah blah, if the club have the same attitude, they'll never progress.
People say that it can never work in London, I don't think that's true, it's just the club simply have to do better. They've made a good start on the pitch, thing is can they keep the form going? and can the marketing mob at Quins capitalise on it?

The application forms package runs to 1600 pages, so I have been advised.
Next question?

Thats the whole reason even the clubs wont find out the full details. The easiest way the RFL could do it is if they just came straight out and said that Quinns, Crusaders and Catalans were exempt from been de-franchised. That way at least the other teams know where they stand.

Whats going on? Quins at top of table! Congrats to them they have been brill so far this year but sadly, I doubt they will drop further down the table as the season progresses. If they could stay in the top 8 it could be fantastic for Powell and his men.
