Once again we show our inability to do the basics - accurate passing, ball control in the tackle, attacking kicking etc - until we improve the basic we have no chance of giving the Aussies a serious game

Yeah, I said pretty much the same thing on the other game thread. All the Aussies did today was play basic footy and took no risks. They scored every try off the back of a Kiwi mistake and if im not mistaken did the same to us last week. Its simple way of playing but very effective. Work the middle all game and then when you get a chance give the outside backs ball in space. |

To be fair to England I thought they performed reasonably well under difficult circumstances.
I thought Robinson,Roby,Graham(England's player of the tournament for me) and Burgess played pretty good.
I thought the ref let PNG get away with a lot of infringements though,especially around the play of the ball.
