Wakefield's lavatory facilities are disgusting. I have been in them many times when there has been a good few millimetres of p[ii[/is[is[/i on the floor. Not exactly 'wading' put an unacceptable level of urine by anyone's standards.

They aren't all covered. At Wakey (sorry to keep using them as an example), they have one covered stand, the block of flats at one end, and the rest is uncovered. There is no way that every fan in the ground could sit or stand in a covered part of the stadium.
Quote: Enfield Exile " Have you actually been to an old-fashioned stadium? Do you actually think the DW is better than, say, Central Park? If so, in what way? '"
In almost every way. I enjoy the atmosphere in grounds like Wheldon Road, but the facilities, access and infrastructure are laughably poor.
Quote: Enfield Exile "The main reasons I prefer old-fashion stadia are because of terracing for those who want to stand and because of character. Character is a big issue to me, and I would say a few others. It's like a house. I would not buy a new build. Some people like yourself, may like the straight walls, plaster board, breeze-blocks and 'boxy' feel. I prefer walls that are not straight, corniches made from lime and plaster (rather than polystyrene ones from B&Q) and high ceilings.

Would you still like your old house if the bathroom stunk of wee, the roofs leaked, and you couldn't park within a mile of it?
