not really, as i started following both teams in teh 80's was there was had been no success for them for years, not jump on the bandwagon when the success started to come  |

| 2500 giants fans?
 we had 1000 in the north stand alone, another few hundred in the east stand and at least 2000 in the west stand!
huddersfield-well known for poor crowds over the years, no success for 50 years,60 miles from the venue,3500-4000 supporters
st helens-countless trophy wins in the last 10 years alone, succesive trips to challenge cup finals/grand finals, 7 miles from the venue, 6000 supporters
and as usual its the giants support or lack of it that is subject to scrutiny  |

he was wrong obviously, he meant there was 100 in the north stand, 25 in the East and 250 in the West meaning a total of 375 giants fans at our Semi final - is that what you want to hear??
btw - there was also 25000 saints fans and the ground actually holds 30,000

yeah there was indeed because they packed their stand so tightly and , obviously as we dont have any fans , it was safer to give them our stand too, its better to make 25,000 fans happy and safe rather than our following of 375 ( which ,incidentally would still have been more than HKR brought to us pre-super league )

God you ask a serious question and this is what you get eh?!  
Well maybe there wasn't, just looked like a few red and white shirts in the side of the stand.
Anyway, okay we were down in the dumps years ago, but we've bounced back to reach our highest league position for something like 24 years, have trebbled or home support in 3 years and take a lot more away then Hudds, e.g. betcha didn't take 3000 to Cas eh?!
