Saints were playing Huddersfield at the Galpharm in 2007.

It was the coldest game ever, wind was down to about -3 something like that, Matt Gardener was heading straight for the line and was strangely looking to pass, as he turned his head back from looking Lee Gilmour got his shoulder right under the chin of Gardener and he must have gone about what 4/5 yards into the air and backwards.

Also from that game, Long kicked the ball to touch for a penalty, a fan ran down a fair way from the top of the stand to catch the ball. He caught the bal but then realised he wasnt going to be able to stop in time and went head over over the advertising boards.

That or seeing Paul Anderson slotting one over from the sideline against Leeds.

LOL.

Quote: Roofs "Remember about 5 years ago at Craven Park, there was a 'Catch the Bomb' comp at H/T between 1 of our fans, and a Doncaster fan. The Donny fan caught the decisive bomb to win it and showed his delight by slamming the ball down touchdown style. Unfortunately for him the ball got stuck under his feet and sent him flying on his back!
That would be me.

I'd like to say that the beer was ruling my head that day, but I was stone cold sober. icon_sad.gif

I made up for it after the match though. icon_smile.gif

The banter I got from the East stand at Craven Park that day was quite good as well...

I was watching a London Broncos game on Sky back in the 90s.
London had won and some of the crowd were on the pitch, one excited fan was comically bashing the guy in the Bronco Mascot suit on the head. After the cartoon protests of the fluffy horse failed to stop the giddy assault, the bronco removed his costume head to reveal he was former player Bernard Carroll (the scary guy with the bald, tattooed head).

The excited fan proceed to fill his pants and obviously stopped hitting him on the head.

Kemik the Viking back in the day was brilliant. Loved his impersonations of Bradford's players to their music. Once he wanted a break so put his head at one end of a hoarding and lay on the other side. icon_smile.gif

Jules O'Neill for Widnes (Against Hull KR I think) passing the ball but it went like straight up in the air. Think it was JON anyway, still laugh thinking about it.

Sean Long doing a celebration behind the line in the process of scoring a try and dropped the ball icon_lol.gif

We train on a 3G pitch that is also used for football. Earlier on this season we were playing a game of touch when this Hungarian bloke, who obviously didn't know the rules to the game (and is also a bit weird), got the ball and proceeded to throw it into a 5 a side goal and celebrate icon_lol.gif

A Cas v Fax game about 15 years ago. There was a Fax fan in front of us who was complaining about just about everything. It was quiet windy and the conversion from a Cas try curved round a hit him square in the side of his head. That shut him up for a bit.
