| 1. Correct easily, superb redevelopment of a Victorian traditional ground.
2. Stade Brutus, love it there
3. Langtree, best of the new grounds by a long way
4. Kcom, when 15k+ in its bouncing
5. DW, as above but needs a big crowd ket down by box’y stands
6. AJ Bell actually a great stadium when as a decent crowd. Went to an England game there and it was really decent.
7. Huddersfield John smiths is it still.
8. New craven park. Massively improved with the new stand, needs something better at the far end and be pretty good.
9. Hallewell Jones. Worst new stadium, like a Lego ground but worst those stupid high roofs
10. weldon road, great atmosphere of course but was a relic 30 years ago.
11. Bell vue, just atrocious font know how it even gets s safety certificate fir mire than 2000 people.

| The author of the article is either blind or, never experienced some of the grounds under review.
Certainly, a visit to Headingley as an away fan would give a significantly different outcome and it's also interesting that The John Smiths Stadium is "down graded" because it's half empty..
I was there for an England v NZ game, with a full house and it was head and shoulders above Headingley, which is 3/4 of the way to being a top, top ground.
Similarly, the Stade Gilbert Brutus, has only 3 sides to the ground and surely, should be further down the list.
The Hull FC stadium is comfortably THE best SL ground, especially when close to capacity, a real cauldron of noise.
Wakey and Cas are rightly at the bottom of the list but, both, are excellent when there is a decent crowd and are preferable to being in a 20% full ground at The John Smiths but, Huddersfield is a cracking ground.

| Wakefields new stadium has to be far the worst. 11+ in the making and still no sign of it.

'"
Now you've contradicted yourself there.
It's entirely personal choice and if one likes to stand, some of these plush all seaters won't float your boat, for those that like to sit a seated stadia is OK but some seats are crammed in such that you have to shuffle past a score of people to go get a tea, or go for a wee. Plus anyone with long legs may have their knees in someone's back all game (like some old time players we remember )
Those with a sense of history may love visits to the old grounds, those with a penchant for some atmosphere may love the western terrace at Leeds when the big clubs fans pack it out, and collectively be mean to the home crowd, they may like Odsal for the history, but may hate it for the track that goes around it.
Cas has few seats but when there's a big crowd it's got a great atmosphere you don't get at The John Smiths, but at the John Smiths you can lie down across several seats or you can lie back with your legs over the seat in front and not upset anyone.
Personal choice, so a poll would perhaps sort it out, however the usual suspect will get two or three votes

Lets ignore the comments on Wakefield [i "promising" a new stadium to Superleague[/i from the usual suspect....
The second round of licensing in 2011 merely noted that the stadium was a "challenge" but did major on Wakefield needing to [i"trade in a sustainable manner" [/iand [i"Improve competitiveness on the pitch"[/i
Mr. Carter has managed to with juggle these two things and Wakey haven't been the bottom club in any year since that 2011 licensing, plus the push to improve the stadium has been genuine, obviously they were badly treated on Newmarket, and now they look to maintain Belle views "adequacies" shall we say, and build it up as money becomes available
Should Wakey build a dirt cheap all seater meccano set somewhere out in the wilds I wouldn't ever call that a benefit to Superleague.

| You're all off your heads.
1st by a mile is Huddersfield with the Kings Head, Sportsman and Vulcan (would have been even further in front if the Slubbers Arms was still open).
2nd is Wakefield with Harrys Bar, Black Rock and Fernandes.
3rd is Warrington with the railway club.
None of the others deserve a mention TBH.

Too long but we get to go to the 3 pigeons at Halifax, taprooms at Batley, Hanging Heaton Working Mens at Dewsbury and you can take your pick for York.
Hopefully keighley can get their act together and get promoted and then 2023 wed get to go to the Boltmakers Arms.
