The head knocks really set him back last year and then sadly when he did play, he looked like he wanted to get off the field. He went down twice in games where as a fan you thought he had to have picked up a long term injury (a knee problem and then his ribs), only to then be told there wasn’t much wrong with him and he’d be available the following week. His performances in the reserves have been pretty wretched, with his body language and lack of involvement making it clear that he isn’t interested in using that system as a way of fighting for a place.

All the talent in the world but sadly he’s one of those big guys who hasn’t got the grit and attitude to go with it. I’m amazed Leeds are thinking of playing him through the middle. He’s an edge player all day long with his pace and line running.

Just an observation. Crack on, it must make life slighly more bearable when supporting a club like Widnes.

I reckon he wont last at Leeds , Wigan wont want him , so he will finish up at Toronto or Widnes , at the end of the day he is not very good and lacks bottle

I can see where people get the lacks bottle from. I’m not convinced. I think his confidence is shot to pieces and he is playing with the fear of getting injured. Whether he can get over that mentally will determine whether he goes on to full-fill his potential. There’s a class player somewhere in there.
