There's four teams not safe yet, 22 points is the magic number. The game between the two of you next week is the most important game of the round

| 2 games left for London v 2 of their relegation rivals. They need to win them both and rely on either Hull KR or Wakefield losing their other game.
However that’s hardly unlikely that Wakefield will lose away at Warrington or that Hull KR will lose to Salford.
You would imagine Huddersfield will lose to Saints but beat Catalans so they may be safe.

| Quote: Seventies red "What a ridiculous and complacent remark. We most certainly are not safe. We are 2 points ahead of London and have to play them next Friday. Make no mistake, they'll be up for it as they'll probably see it as been in the last chance saloon. If they win, it would leave us equal on points with one game each to play. Us against an in form Salford and London up against a hit and miss Wakefield. If London beat us and then Wakefield, and we lose against Salford at the same time, London would then stay up and we would be relegated. Its still all to play for, in fact I would say next Friday is just as important if not more so than yesterdays game, especially given the fact that we haven't won back to back games for god knows how long. Next Friday is the big one, I just hope the players don't have your sense of complacency when they enter the field, otherwise they'll come unstuck.'"
I have spent all my life being pessimistic and have been absolutely pilloried for it, cut me some slack if for once I show confidence in the club.

| London MUST win both games now. It's unlikely, but still possible. If they lose next week, that's it.
The only way they will stay up with one win is if they put a significant score on Rovers, and then Rovers get beat convincingly the week after.

| If London beat hkr by 32 points, they go above hkr.
If London’s beat hkr by less than this, it will come down to who can lose by the least on the last day.
The arrogance of the OP is a little premature.

I agree
London's fete is still in their own hands and if they can beat Rovers next week, they will take masses of confidence and belief into their last game at Wakefield.
The only thing that changed this weekend is that Huddersfield to a huge leap towards safety, especially with the white flag waving French side for their last home fixture and that Leeds are definitely safe but, there is still plenty in the relegation battle.
The KR v London game is just HHHHHHHHHUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

| Will be a compelling watch. Rovers can make themselves safe, but it won't guarantee Wakey, if London hammer us on the last day, assuming we lose against Warrington.
London are 150 worse off. Let's say we each lose by the same number of points on Friday, Wakey would have to lose to London by 76 points to go down. Unlike the OP, as a Wakey fan, I won't be confident until the last day at 4.45pm.

Come on Slugger, all of us would take not getting done by 75 points on the last day of the season as being safe.

| London wont go down imo. Super League will expand to 14 teams and Toronto and Toulouse will come in - that would be an ideal super league imo

| Quote: Spegsdrinkingbuddy "Battled hard mate, however the 4 pts of saints academy irks me.'"
Do you realise the Saints 'Academy' that faced London had between them played over 400 more Super League Games than the 17 Players the Broncos put out there?
Tony Smith had no issue, Richard Agar had no issue so I am at a loss to understand quite why a Hull KR fan would have an issue?
The cap is based around a 25 man squad. If the numbers 20 - 25 are not good enough to be classed as first team players then they should be removed from the cap and Saints can have that to spend elsewhere. Would that make you happier?

We dont agree on much sometimes, but I am 100% with you on that.
Toronto need to be self sufficient and get a marketing team to big up games in Canada. IMO they could get crowds of 15k+ in SL
Toulouse would give France the shot in the arm it needs to boost interest there and to help improve the International game.

Tony Smith did have an issue. He complained about it in a recent article.
I can see why a coach would be annoyed by it but I’m very much of the view that resting so many players rarely works anyway as it disrupts a teams momentum but also its attitude.
In recent time I’m struggling to remember a time where it’s actually worked resting a large amount of players.
So I doubt we’ll see it happen very often.
