| I thought the day yesterday was fantastic (and I am a hull fc supporter so it defiantly wasn't the result that I enjoyed). Atmosphere all day was spot on Widnes supporters sang there hearts out all day, I was in the Leeds end for the last game and at half timeit was like a rock concent. Yes by that point it had been a long day and lot of alcoholic beverages had been drunk and a few people let them self, club and city/town down.
If this type of atmosphere is to roudy for you then get a reserved seat form your club in the 2nd teir.

| If you were unhappy about unreasonable behaviour from other supporters, why didn't you report them to a steward? There were plenty of them about in the stadium.

Unfortunately, some of the replies to your post demonstrate what is so often wrong with those who attend sporting events nowadays. I've enjoyed rugby league for almost 60 years (I was a frustrated Saints fan at the game yesterday) and increasingly find that Magic Weekends, Grand Finals and Challenge Cup Finals attract mindless idiots (typically daft young lads and their equally daft mates) who come more for the beer than for the games. I'd be very surprised if any of them can even understand (or spell) words such as RESPECT, TOLERANCE and DIGNITY and they let our family-orientated game down badly on big occasions where we're trying to attract new audiences.
I have no problems with alcohol at matches and fully expect to be called a boring old f*rt after my comments but it's time that some of these thickos understood that it's not acceptable to inflict their drunken selves on others when a large part of the audience comprises women and children. Therefore, instead of saying to you that you should move to another seat, they should do us all a favour and move to another sport......preferably one where their low IQ's would be welcomed - i.e. football.

Thanks for that, but not to worry, it seems to be acceptable now

| Great weekend out. Ample ale, sun and rugby. 60000 over 2 days naturally there be will be the odd fool who can't handle their ale. I was probably comparable to a zombie at times but no spew or arguments with fans just a lot of good natured banter and sadly a lot of sunburn.

| It's what happens when the catering staff will just keep on pouring the pints.

Sadly I agree with this. I used to take the family to all the big finals but now tend to go with mates for all the above reasons. Rugby league is a family sport except on the big occasions when the drunken fools arrive. The Grand final is getting especially bad for this.

| Didn't see any trouble on the second day.
But as already said, unreserved means you can sit anywhere.
There is no "Leeds end"
