yes we did play against Ukraine today, the final score finished 28-10 to Ukraine, who were well marshalled by their 6 and 13, a big physical side who did the basics very well, it was very tight and close for 65 mins but 2 scores in the last 10 mins pulled the game from leeds, and in my honest opinion the scoreline flattered ukraine as it was an even contest throughout. The game was played in good spirit, and the ukrainian officials who touch judged did a good job, although the ref did give a lot of leeway on the play the ball and high shots, but at least consistent for both sides so no complaints. The game was broadcast live on ukrainian tv also, so potentially the interest growing back there.

Great stuff and congratulations on hosting such a groundbreaking game. I'm not sure what the domesticv situation is in the Ukraine but that must be a priority. Once a solid domestic championship is established they can look at regular intenational fixtures. The last thing rugby league needs is another promising nation trying to run before it can walk.

Canada will be playing a 2 game series against Lebanon next summer, with one of those games possibly taking place in Montreal. They'll also be playing the usual suspects (Jamaica, US) as well as the RAF. More internationals are in the pipeline. I'll post details as soon as I have confirmation.

The American National Rugby League is finalizing details for a tour of France in 2012.
Dates and venues for the tour are still being finalized, but it's expected that the USA's national team will play at least one warm-up game and then the Test in October.

The Cook Islands are likely to tour England, Wales and possibly one other country late next year as part of preparations for the 2013 World Cup.

It has been confirmed that the USA will host Ireland in the Donnybrook Cup test match on March 17. The game, to be played in Philadelphia, will mark the St Patrick’s Day weekend.
