| You have to figure in that we go every year. It really should be included as part of the season ticket price. Spending £250 to go to OT every single year is getting a tad tiresome.

Don't think it's that high - 13,000 rings a bell.
I remember Gary Hetherington having a moan in 2004 that Leeds were only allocated 10,000 tickets. At the time, the club had to buy an extra allocation simply to cover the number of people who were entitled to priority purchase - season tickets, members, lottery agents, etc.

| Anyone been in North stand third tier? That's where my tickets are. Been looking on a certain video site and it seems that its not a bad place to sit; you're high up, but not too far from the pitch, you get to see everything, good view..

I've been in about every section. I've also sat on the back row of both the tallest stands there.
You can still see the game and it's very easy from there to make offside decisions, but you do miss some of the little details.

| Cheers for that. I've been to a United match against Blackburn a couple of years ago. I was in the East upper tier. I wasn't overly impressed, partly because you're far away from the far action and the Stretford end at the far side of the pitch and partly because that's the family enclosure, so there was no atmosphere. Also, because of the shape of the stand, even though we were above the Blackburn fans, we couldn't hear anything from them. Ronaldo did score two in front of us, which was alright though.
I chose the North upper tier because I thought you'd get a better view of all the pitch and I'm assuming that you get a better feel of the atmophere being able to see most of the ground and that massive roof reflecting the sound. Should be good.

In Fairness to Saints it harder to sell tickets to something that has become a regular thing. You are always more eager to go something that only comes along once every few years than you are to something you experienced only last year.
I do expect an electric atmosphere. And the game should be a cracker.

| someone mentioned that wigan have shifted about 32,000 tickets 12,000 through the club and someone at the rfl mentioned that 20,000 have been sold to people with wigan post codes.
I really wouldnt be suprised to see wiganers start buying from st.helens now.

| I'm happy Wigan are there, even though we [Leeds] ain't and i hope they turn up in their thousands....tens of thousands!
To me, being born in the 80's Wigan RL personify Rugby League besides my own team.
Losing to them in the 90's continually has only served for me to want to beat the in a final ever since.
Even though we won't this year, i am more than happy to see them this Saturday and will be on their side ever so slightly during the game[even the side of the stadium their supporters will monopolise!]
Looking forward to this game a lot.

Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20333.gif |
