I don't think Neo Nazi football fans (Which at the end of the day is what they are) will be running scared of a few RL fans. If anything hitleronline.com will probably be buzzing with tales of what they intend to do.

IMO if the police allow it to happen on the same day the RFL should sue them.

I think you will find that although quite a few football hooligans are pretty hard cases, most are just mouth and trousers and would not kick off if surrounded by others. RL fans may not be trouble causers but they are not just going to let some s walk all over them. We can stand our ground if it comes to it.

Anyone know whether there will be special trains from Piccadilly & Oxford Road going to Old Trafford? There always are for soccer games, and with a large crowd expected there ought to be for the Grand Final. If so, anyone travelling into Manchester by train can avoid the City centre completely.

I really hope this is being investigated right now. If it's left till the last minute (and we all know that isn't beyond the police) it could cause massive disruption to rugby league fans in terms of things like transport and pre-match in the city centre.
Why not shift both the UAF and EDL to Whitworth Park, ring it off and let them go at it to their hearts' content?
