This is something I have raised before. I went to the game in Toulouse last year and I got my tickets from some French equivalent of Ticketmaster. In the end, the postage costs were nearly as much as the actual ticket!
I sent an email to the RFL earlier this year, saying that obtaining a block of tickets - say 200 - and then selling them would be a good idea, rather than having to pay through the nose just to ensure your ticket. Rather unsurprisingly I got some generic 'we have no intention of selling tickets for this fixture' excuse and with Eagles playing on the same day i've decided not to bother. |

Been in contact with the RFL and they said they're expecting an allocation at some point this year, so maybe lessons learned. That said, the international game won't be taken seriously while it still clashes with a full weekend's programme; I too would have gone to watch my club if we were on the Saturday rather than the Sunday. |

Why does it have to be a stand alone fixture? It isnt like that down here, the mid season Aus-NZ clashes with a round, and many players back up the day after.
