| Saints have sold out their allocation of away tickets for Catalans. The first ever SL to do so.
Hull fc took 36 fans last season. I would imagine Wakefield took less but I cannot verify that but common sense would say I’m right

| With the success saints have had they should be selling out every allocation, if they were as crap as Hull and Wakey year after year the glory supporters would up sticks and leave, they wouldn't sell half of what they do now.

| Big crowds today, just under 21k at Hull despite us being garbage (much bigger Rovers turnout than recent years)
And then 24k at Wigan which is their best crowd since the former SL record crowd in 2005.
Something has definitely happened to push crowd levels up, and it's a welcome surprise with the cost of living crisis, I think it's the free TV coverage boosting the game

| I was a bit disappointed to see only 6k at Leigh today. They seemed to have been improving the attendance week on week, and this just seems low.
Maybe the initial bubble of interest has started to burst.

The good crowds over Easter have been because of good away following.
Salford have about 2000 fans in total so were never going to take many to Leigh. You can’t blame Leigh for that

Away followings should never be an excuse for a low gate. There was a good turnout from Salford at Leigh yesterday.

24k at the DW.
5k Saints (great following I agree)
Leaves 19k Wigan, which is 7k upwards of of our calculated average attendance at the moment.
The club needs to entice as many of those 7k floaters as they can. Start with actively marketing the Wire, Leigh and Leeds home games for starters. If we can increase our average by a couple of thousand this season then we are on the right track (especially with higher cost of living at the moment).

| One round at easter is definately a good move also, seen many poor Easter Monday games over the years due to player fatigue, and if your side has had a bad result on the Friday (like mine!) you'd struggle to get the fans through the turnstyles again for a 2nd helping.
Some strange scheduling this year though, Hull are off to Headingley for a 2nd time in just a few weeks even though we are yet to play a few other teams yet.

| Saints need to look at the unsavoury element within their fanbase at games that they are experiencing at the moment according to Redvee forum. A few unhappy folk on there.

Comes with success sadly. They'll all start to disappear if the trophies do.

That's nothing new and entirely alcohol related. Always the same at Grand Finals as well. The losing end always has fighting and people unable to contain their emotions, no matter who the finalists are. If you notice there is an identical thread on Redvee every time Saints lose a big game. It was made worse this time by the fact Wigan aren't used to the traffic in the away end and can't serve anyone anywhere near quickly enough, so you cannot get a drink at the game without missing 20 minutes of the match. So a lot were hitting the One Stop for a crate to make up for it and most were the type to need ID to make such purchases. (And the complete lack of bins in Wigan and the lack of care from the drinkers means you have several thousand cans of lager disposed of al-fresco which is another Good Friday issue that annoys me) Kicking off at 12 would be a good idea, but it's a shame to spoil a nice day for the majority because of a load of young lads who haven't been taught how to behave in public.

Wigan did this a few years ago by advertising games against Wire and Leeds as “The Big One.” They got 20,000 plus crowds. Each Club needs to seriously target a couple of games each season for some extra marketing.
