I'm watching this closely to see how Graham pleads, if you search on the popular video website that shall not be named
- James Graham V Jason King - "Run Again Son"
and
- James Graham OWNS Sam Burgess
you'll find in both those incidents Graham applies the same bear hug like maneuver that he had on Slater. You can also note that in both he shouts into King and Burgess ear, in the King case(at18-20 saeconds) it looks very much like the same bite action against Slater even though he was just talking in his ear
some people watching even thought he did try and bite King ( www.thekennel.net.au/forum/showt ... 79&page=23) in the Manly game (he didn't, but i'm just using devils advocate to show shouting at the right angle can look otherwise)
Now as I said already I think Graham did have a nibble on Slater. But he could have a halfcase and if i was him i might just chance my arm and go not guilty. He can already demonstrate that in another finals game when shouting in a players ear people mistook it as a bite, and he can show that bear hugging and shouting closely into peoples ear is his style of fighting. at the least i might expect him to argue he was shouting in his ear and accidentally bit Slater.
but you're all definitely biased saints fans lol he'll be found guilty no doubt

| Quote Judder Man="Judder Man"Doesn't look anything like a bite does it, wound if far too small for a bite. At worse its an impact from his front teeth as the head goes in.
Obviously many on this forum want to make it worse than what it is, if Slaters ear is hanging off or a piece of ear is making then yes there is a case.
Good job it wasn't Tomkins the accused he would have been banned for life on here?'"
Graham was wearing a gumshield, meaning that aby resulting bite wound wouldn't look like a typical bite mark. A small laceration is likely considering the flexibility of the ear tissue and the lack of grip a gum shield would have given Graham when biting.
I couldn't care less whether he's banned for it or not - yes it's a disgusting act (and from viewing the video, in my opinion it's clear he bit him) - but Slater is an odeous little creature - any violence directed his way is greeted with a slight grin from me..... Not a very nice thing to admit, but hey ho - Slater is a grub.

| Quote SaintsFan="SaintsFan"Aye, but also notice that interestingly Slater/Melbourne aren't going to submit any visual evidence of the bite mark.'"
Yes, that *is* interesting. They'll have to rely on high-resolution photographs taken at the time. And broadcast-quality video. And witness testimony. And Graham pleading guilty.

Yes that's what I was thinking. with a gum shield in if he did bite down, the front of the ear would possibly look like what the picture shows, a small straight cut, to really show one way or the other we'd need some photos of the back of his ear.

| I think that if Graham did bite his ear then he'll say so in the hearing

I'll have you know I went to the Quincy Primary School. I later attended the Grissom Last Vegas High School and later attended the University of CSI NY.
I feel I am eminently qualified to comment on this case and am expecting a call as expert witness from the Aussie RL.

| 10-12 Match ban for Slater, deliberate use of the ear (had he actually joked Graham it could have been much longer).

Having read what was said, yes. Concoted claptrap. Kite says he bit him then turned his head. There is no visual evidence to support Graham's teeth have come into contact with Slater's ear, the damage to Slater's ear was no evidence of a bite either. It's complete and utter bull$hit, he was guilty before the disciplinary sat so you and the other sheeples believe what you want to beleive but Graham has being stitched up.

| All appears to be a pre judged agenda and pommie bashing, whats alarming is the amount of executioners on here from the UK. Good job it wasn't Tomkins this board would have organised a lynch mob by now.
