This I agree with. But if he matures in the international game the way he has in the domestic game, he will be an exceptional player.

I like his attitude. He doesn't do anything too flashy but just gets on with the job.

The fact that he's quite versitile will also help his cause.

It's players like Clough, Shenton and Macarthy-scarsbrook that we should be looking at in this mid season game to see if they're up for selection for the big games at the end of the year.

I dont see the point in picking players now that wont play come the end of the year. Clough, while decent wont play come oct/nov, same with Ainscough although to be honest I think he's a couple of years off yet.
We complain at a lack of int game time yet we're going to waste it on players that don't have a cat in hells chance??

Why do we have these ridiculous threads where people pick 'future England teams'? Maybe three or four of those players will go on to fulfill their potential, and a lot of the players picked don't even have the potential to be international quality in the first place. Even then, there will never be an international team where all the players are the same age and made their debuts around the same time. The stupidity of some fans is absolutely unbelievable.

You always get the same club banter as well and the reality is out of all those players mentioned I bet a maximum of 4 or 5 play for England.

I'm not 'raged', it's just a bit pointless when people feel the need to pick new future England teams every two weeks with a different set of players. I don't mind the discussion, but picking teams has about as much merit as picking a team of players who's surname begins with the letter 'A'.

Correct if I'm wrong but Adamson should be there from Salford. Also Ratchford from Salford and Eastmond from Staints look like there going to be ones for the future
