15 years to get a 9yr old from Gravesend who had never played a game of RL to a 4 try scoring England International....shame on us
Compare it with clubs like our antip friends from East Hull with 125yrs.......London should hang its head in shame with that comparison

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity
Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!:9005.jpg |

If you are going to use their full history it would only be fair to include all their International players in that time
So by my reckoning Fulham/Broncos/Quins in 30 years have produced 1
I'm fairly sure HKR will be well into double figures in their 125
So , not a good argument , What is interesting as I pointed out is only 1 player from Leeds in the England squad , only 1 from Saints as well

SORRY,,,,DISAGREE.
Point is that HKR may well have had loads of internationals in their ranks over the years....just a shame that the internationals they have now are all Southern Hemisphere internationals
Also, they are a hewartland club, we are a development area.....shame neither of us will be around in another 95 years to compare international caps per club, but as for this century, we are ahead

the original sandy, no aussie imitation!: |
|
| we are only 4 years into our superleague history though with all the money that entails to spend on development, not an easy thing to do in the championship with no sky handout as any fan in the championship will tell you, how many internationals do you think london would produce if the only team down there were the skolars?
oh and we do have 8 acadamy products in the first team squad as well as our millions of foreigners, a figure that will grow year on year from now

I was talking about proper Internationals , not one match wonders against low key opposition
But admit it , you had forgotten about Wilkin , hadn't you

| Geez I wish we were as good as Quins at developing top quality English players, I really am green with envy at the amazing success of your club and the way that success has brought the masses flooding through the RU gates of Twickenham!

WTF do league positions have to do with development of homegrown talent?
Best watch out nobody sets fire to that straw man you're building...

Well isn't league position often an indicator of strong youth development, e.g. Leeds Rhinos success over the last few years?

So you'd rather finish higher in the league than produce quality English players? No problem if you would (lots would) but I'm not sure it's an argument for saying KR offer more to RL than Quins
