Leeds to beat Cas in the final. I'd like Cas to win it if Wigan don't (though one or two of their fans on here seem to be getting a bit arrogant); I just think the big game experience combined the motivation of it being a last game for Maguire and Burrow will see them take the trophy.

| Dave Woods piece on the BBC site earlier this week was cringeworthy, "why aren't we making more of a fuss about Cas winning the LLS"
A, People are making a fuss
B, the GF clearly is the main prize and the same journalists would be the first to complain if we got rid or treated it secondary to the LLS
C, and most importantly they haven't actually won it yet even if it's almost nailed on, unlikely I know but imagine a massive slump by them now and they somehow lose it. How ridiculous would it look all that premature patting on the backs. And because some of the media have been celebrating their LLS win since around several rounds ago it's going to make the actual occasion they confirm it rather anticlimactic and already worn out.

| I think even if we lost all 7 games we would still win the league. Naturally I hope that doesn't happen. Now I'm a real pessimist at times but we are home and dry for the lls. Play-off s a different kettle

Probably because Leeds would have to win at least 6 games and that's be a tough ask.
Thing with that Dave Woods article that gets me though is that it is CC SF week, the two games are on the BBC where HE will be lead commentator......maybe highlight them massive matches and save your Cas LLS credit whine for 2/3 weeks when they've actually confirmed the LLS?
Just a complete waste of opportunity to promote SF's of our cup competition for a moan about the structure that could be done nearly any other week, what a usual tool. Could understand it from a Sky guy, but that guy is BBC for god sake.

| There is no doubt Cas have the LLS, which they deserve this season.
I think Leeds & Hull will be 2nd and 3rd, 2nd will go to the team who loses on Saturday IMO.
Think Saints will get 4th, just hitting form at the right time.
Think Warrington, Leigh and Catalans will be top 3, Rovers vs Widnes for the MPG, with Rovers winning due to home advantage.

| If cas win the LLS, does it show how far Rugby league has fallen? I mean, look at the past teams that have won it. Full of future hall of famers. This cas team has one good player in hardaker, who couldn't hack it in the NRL and a load of randoms who were let go by clubs like hull kr. Just shows how poor the rest of super league has become

King James

| It was ridiculous for sure. Plenty to write about in CCSF week. For example there was nothing about Vatuvei until he was announced in their squad today - ffs he's one of the biggest names to come to England probably since Trent Barrett - the Warriors named their stadium after him for gods sake!

Ah, the hall of famers at clubs where their wives were paid fortunes to be cleaners, or work in the club shops?.
Or those at clubs with squads crammed with internationals who got late contract payments sent to their accounts in Australia/N.Z as they flew home?. The tightening up on cap rule bending helped clubs like Cas, Wakey etc and hurt yours.

What a pathetic statement, how long have you been watching the game?
They've never finished top of the league, how can it (R.L.) have fallen, it's never happened before!
Just because certain clubs have kept a tight grip on things in recent years doesn't mean it will always be so.

this.
On top of the fact that hardly any will be hall of famers anyway.

It's not that I don't agree with the article or that anything he has said is wrong - its the tone that fortifies the impression that certain people linked to certain clubs do not like a change at the top. He comes across as a bitter Hull fan.
