That's one hell of a stretch by any measure.

The idea that someone from Hull, the of Britain (it's where you live, learn to spell it) felt that New Zealand wasn't for them is quite ironic really.
New Zealand has been my home for 6 years now and my biggest regret is that I didn't move here sooner.......the quality of life is light years ahead of the UK. Auckland is my least favourite place here, but is craps all over Wigan from a great height......he's not homesick, he's just failed.
Quote: cravenpark1 "I worked on cruise ships and they're was a lot of Aussie guests and the above description is quite apt. They are very uncultured'"

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |

What a narrow minded view that this.
I've been in NZ for 10 years myself and I've seen plenty move over here over the years, only to return home. No doubt I'll see more. What's right for you and I isn't always the case for others.
You sound like a really old and bitter chap. Perhaps keep you daft opinions to yourself.

I responded to the opinion of a posters daughter that NZ was 30 years behind the UK. How that is narrow minded of me I do wonder, although now you bring it up, I am an old and bitter chap, but I am old an bitter chap that lives in a mortgage free 5 bedroom house, own his own company and drives a Mercedes AMG......paying at worst 25% TAX. Compared to the tube riding, mortgage laiden 1 bedroom flat owning 50% of my income to the government poor sod I was, I'll take NZ every day of the week compared to anywhere in the UK.
As for keeping my opinion to myself? Are you new to this internet forum malarky?

Well good for you. Perhaps try telling somebody who could give one next time though.
I called you narrow minded for your assumption that Tomkins is returning home because he has failed, rather than because he might just actually want to go home. Heaven forbid somebody might actually want to go home, what a terrible thing to do.
To answer your question: No. I've certainly been around long enough to recognise a Troll.

Why don't you just whack it out on a table and put a ruler next to it.

Samuel Tomkins is now openly saying Wigan would be nice but it won't necessarily be Wigan.
www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/leag ... mhm5y.html
As a Wigan lad I am sure that he would never consider St Helens. He is not needed at Leeds unless he wants to play at No. 6. Salford have Kevin Locke and Rangi Chase and booming competition for the scrum half spot between an Aussie and a Frenchman. Hull FC are OK for full backs and halves, and Hull KR have no need for him as a full back or a half. He would never choose a club with a small fan base like Salford, Huddersfield or Widnes. He would never go to a club with dilapidated facilities like Castleford or Wakefield.
I wonder if that means he will take a chance with a contract with London?

| Did I read that right Jean, London? Yes of course one of the best players we've ever produced, who is in the prime of his career is going to join a team playing in a housing estate in front of 600 fans in the second tier of rugby.
Add to the above the Chairmans desire to reduce costs!

Ah I see. You're one of those gobs***es who owns a convertible that at the first sign of sunshine, no matter if it's 3oC and frosty, you'd have the roof down like the pretentious prat that you are.
Glad to see we cleared that up.
