Signing powell will in fact help with youth development as more young players will be encouraged to play rugby league and follow in his foot steps.

I fully believe that Powell comnig to league and playing for Wales alongside Thomas would be massive for the relatively young Welsh squad of Harris'. It would be a big boost for those guys to play alongside big union internationals who they have probably seen on TV all their lives and might help them to step up, beat France and qualify for the 4 Nations.

It's not just about Crusaders when these guys are mentioned for a code switch, it's about Wales.
