Fax and Fev have punched well above their weight this year and are both to be commended. Of the supposed big 4, London have waned at the middle part of the season as expected due to their paper-thin squad and Leigh left themselves a massive mountain to climb that I suspect will permit one more loss before becoming too high to scale this year, which leaves Fev and Fax to battle it out with London and Leigh for the right to join the French and Mancunian Canucks in the middle 8's.......and more important than the 7 games with 4 against SL sides, there comes the extra funding.......it's been a cracking season so far!

The London point is interesting. I figured that with the odd high-profile exception, their squad would be relatively cheap to run. Would some of that be due to the higher cost of living in London, and needing to offer more to players in order to attract them to the smoke?

Can't argue with Fax's performances this season though.
