| Hill showing again what Wire fans have been seeing all season, still baffled he didn't make the dream team squad seeing as he carried our whole team last year.
Where is Cudjoe at centre, is he injured? Currie did an admirable job in the centres for Wire this season, another option to look at.

Thought Hill was outstanding! He really took it to the Kiwis all night. Especially in the first half when the rest of the team was misfiring

| Very very rarely has a game in which he can even remotely be critical of him, the most honest player I've seen in a long time, top pro.

| The only forward from the starting pack who looked willing to carry the fight to the Kiwis early doors.
Our prop options are mouthwatering over the next few years with him, Graham, Cooper and Tom Burgess to be challenged by George Burgess, Walmsley and hopefully that other Burgess lad (although I expect we'll see him in the back row if he comes back).
Incredible group of props that.

| Hall made more headway up the middle than even the outstanding Graham, Burgess and Hill. Makes you wonder.

No stand out players ??
All of the England pack were superb 2nd half and Burgess was immense, he should have got the MoM
Hall was also excellent.

| Felt a bit sorry for England's backs - Hall still wouldn't see the ball from Bateman if we'd still been playing now, every time he got it he looked for someone to run into. Watkins similarly got very little ball in space to use his footwork and strength

| Part of the tactics was to pound them in every part of the field, Hall played his part in that, and as for "feeling sorry" for Bateman or anyone, I very much doubt they are feeling "sorry" for themselves. They will be on a deserved high of satisfaction in a job well done.

Neither did the NZ backs though. I think that was just the type of game it evolved into.

| If you had Reed in at centre, moving Bateman and possibly S Burgess to second row, with George Burgess and Walmsley to come in too, the team looks class. Imagine those options with a proper ball playing loose forward like Cuthbertson at 13. Best England side in a long time.

Nope, Cudjoe's not injured, him and McGillvary were on fire for us at the back end of the year so seems a bit strange that neither can get a look in. Even stranger considering a non centre was playing at centre !

Quite shocking actually... and also very strange as you say you'd have funk McBanana would have played McGillvary and Cudjoe down the right as they must have been good all year with Jerry was top of the try charts, Cudjoe must have had a hand in alot of those (not seen the stats).
But they don't play for Wigan so......
Strangely enough Burgess (who i thought was Anonymous for the most part and plays left Wing) and Bateman (not even a at all) do play for said club.
Also i think Luke Gale deserved a shot more than Williams who incidentally also plays for Wigan.
Although i must admit Williams played pretty well.

| Williams showed great promise in that game. Thought Widdop's kicking game was a little one dimensional and off target as well, but he might have been following team orders in the first half

| There is probably a logical reason that Leeds, Wigan etc make up a large chunk of the England team. An ability to perform at the highest level under pressure, when it matters. These teams and players show that on a regular basis, season after season. Huddersfield show the opposite.
