| That must be a record crowd for League One.
It is more than Salford, Huddersfield, Wakefield and Widnes average.

| Nonetheless it is still impressive, Salford, Huddersfield, Wakefield and Widnes would love to sell 5k season tickets. The challenge will be to keep people coming back, hopefully they don't get bored of the non competitive one sided games, I certainly have given up watching them for this season.

That's an excellent effort, a number that all League 1, Championship and some SL Clubs would be very happy with.
What are Toronto doing to help the locals understand the game and its heritage.
Do they have any type of RL for beginners stuff going on, to explain how the game is played, rules and reffing decisions ?
Again, a fantastic effort with the crowd and we wont really know too much about their credentials until they are in the Middle 8's, perhaps at the end of next season.

Short term one sided games in favour of Toronto with a bit of biff will probably be entertaining for the locals.
I'm with you though. Toronto are hard to watch with their tactics they are a very niggly team. They remind me of certain amateur teams who use bullying tactics against physically weaker teams. Of course it's always been part of the game but yesterday there was umpteen times they didn't need to get involved but they seemed intent on starting trouble.

This is what happens when you sign the likes of Ryan Bailey.

Paul Rowley is the main reason, but I'd agree, Bailey sure does contribute to this.

| Great crowd! I hope they can keep it up. It would be great to see them continue to build and earn a place in Super League. Love Canada as a country, great people. Toronto is a lovely city to visit. Getting Canadian interest in Rugby League can only be good news.

| Find it a bit strange the BBC haven't yet reported on it seeing as it's one of the biggest moments for the game since introducing 6 tackles. They're quick enough to report on women's cricket.
Especially as they ran a report basically saying it wouldn't be a success a few weeks ago.

Spot on these thugs coached by Rowley tried everything to physically hurt the Salford players and their methods were there for anyone to see yesterday. Awful.
