| Quote: The Devil's Advocate "I really hope so.
Please let it not be either St's or Wigan in the G.F.
With Leeds out of the picture, I really could do with a year off from the usual suspects.'"
I wouldn't bet against it.
I assume the opening post is a bit tongue in cheek but Saints do seem to be on a roll and the "Cunningham Out" brigade have got egg on their faces.
A lot will depend on how Warrington and Hull handle the effects of Wembley but there's five more rounds to go yet so plenty of time for the wheels to come off.
Credit Castleford as well for making the Super Eight interesting, Wakefield and Widnes seem to have called it a day.

Have you been reading the St Helens forum? Is comedy at its finest. worlds most fickle fans! At least proper fans like Wigan fans stick with their team through the low periods

| Have they stopped, booing, whingeing and screaming and calling the ref names, even though most of the decisions went their way, and they were lucky to still play with 13.
Strange bunch.

Is there an alternative Wigan in a parallel universe that I am not aware of?

Adam Swift did well under the conditions. If you are the King, I'm joining the Republican movement.
There is no doubting that Saints have found some form but, Wigan have been clinging on in the top echelons of SL for most of the season and Catalan are no barometer of a top team.
The fight for the top 2 spots will be Wire and FC.

| Wigan brought about 17 fans last night which is only about 23 less than they took to the challenge cup semi 2 weeks ago.
For the amount of success and the size of the town Wigan have the worst fans in RL.

At the risk of biting........................
Dispatching Warrington (a team who had 4 days rest after their last game against Saints 13 day rest) with relative ease (by 2 points and nearly lost the game in the dying minutes through a try that, had the game not been on sky, would have been given)??
Seriously?

| You can call our fans for moaning but it's obvious to anyone that the displeasure shown did have an effect on turning round our poor performances.

Could you run it by me how St's moaning fans saved the day?
Every club has the right to have a go, prior to this season there must have been a thread a week on the Hull F.C. board screaming for Radford to be binned off. Even many Leeds fans are calling for McDermott's head this year.
But ultimately nothing has changed, all three coaches are still in situ.
