Bit of a dull game, not a lot of excitement in that first half. Giants seem to have a better kicking and thats the difference between the two sides.

Huddersfield deserve to be winning but you can find fault with every try scored tonight or at least into the build up.

Aye you can - that's down to Hulls defence and discipline.

Hudds just appear more enthusiastic this second half. How that try though wasn't sent up, or seen by the lines man as a knock-on I don't know.

If you can't match the power of Hull's forwards then turn them around by kicking early and hope for the best.

Hull didn't seem at the races but we was times smarter tonight.

Ref was garbage, some glaring errors.

If HKR fail to beat the Wire tomorrow, I think we're dead certs to finish last.

Or slow down the play the ball, which is something we heavily rely on.

Worst Hull performance of the season tonight for me. At least at Widnes we played them when they were full strength and bang in form. Tonight we were absolutely clueless on how to counteract Huddersfield slowing down the play the ball.

No qualms for me best team by a mile won.

A bit one eyed on the slowing down the ptb. Both sides did it and the ref allowed it for both sides. I agree the ref was shocking-some really basic errors such as allowing a ptb on the line after he's signalled held up instead of taking it back. it's not often a ref is booed off at the end by the winning sides supporters!

Not at all, I didnt say Hull didnt do it and I dont think Huddersfield did it illegally anyway. Just saying if you get our forwards on there backs we usually end up in a rut we cant get out of.

It was the crucial mistakes which annoyed me by the referee. They were two Huddersfield tries that came on the back of wrong decisions by the referee and one by Hull. Wouldnt have changed the result but it must mentally have an effect on players when they get back into a game to have a couple dubious decisions go against them. Makes it worse when the muppets from sky pass them over as not critical making our sport look a mockery to any new viewer.Some of the decisions over the past few weeks have being laughable IMO and is rubbing off on players who end up getting frustrated rather then producing the goods. We havent seen a high quality fast flowing game for a long while now.

Huddersfield's early kicks, turning FC round plus, a much improved defence was the main difference.
It's all getting interesting at the bottom of the table !
