As a professional Sound and Video engineer I would say it's possible inspiration was taken from the intro of the los clostobag song but there is little else to tie them.
I think the music in the second part of the SL video is poor, and a let down, it's not loud enough compared to the intro and should be full on rock.

That's an interesting point, for a Copyright issue to stand you need to prove loss of earnings. How much would the fees for the commercial be (it's a copy rather than an inspired-by) v's any lost sales (none?)? |

I don't think the RFL will be using the company that made this for them again. Never saw the original ad or heard the music, but I've seen this style of video a few times. I took 2 minutes out of my life to look at some of the pics of the followers and posters, doesn't russell brand have some demonstration for them to take part in?
the advert is slow, boring and amateurish and apparently it has just been copied. after the last marketing campaigns this one is 2/10
