Equally unsurprising given recent form and the fact that there are eight first teamers out:

Westerman, Chase, Sherwin, Owen, Widders, Evans, Ferres, Dixon.

I'm sure the idiots on Sky aren't banging on about that as much as they were harping on about Leeds having six first team players out a few weeks ago though...

It's amazing how many people don't see this as a problem, isn't it?

Thought Cas defended very well indeed considering who they had out, but they were always going to struggle to get any points.

An absolutely dire game. I suppose you can't really argue considering its both teams' 3rd game in 8 days, cas had a number of key players missing etc, but that still doesnt compensate for what was one of the worst televised games this year. The crowd was abysmal too, cant have been more than 5-6000 in the stadium, a very poor showing from both sets of supporters.

Considering that was basically our second team they did us proud. It could have been a lot worse.

And i'd like to see what the support would be from any other side after our recent form. You can say "it was a poor showing from both sets of supporters", but really, who would want to play £20 to watch an academy team who would most probably get slaughtered?

Since when is it an infringement for the markers not to be square if they are not involved in a tackle , and why is it neccessary for the defending Scrum Half to have to stand next to the scrum ?

the ref's are just inconsistent. Why wasn't the Huddersfield player sin binned after he ripped the ball out for not getting back the 10 when Amos Roberts got 10 last week? Huddersfield had given away other penalties prior to this incident and he should have walked.

Inconsistency will always be a problem as that is interpretence of a rule , but when Ganson pulled the players for not square 3 times , on all 3 occaisions the players were not involved in or attempting to tackle the opposition , so how can they be in what is essentially in an offside position ?

just got back from the game, pretty poor game but ill take a 24-0 win anyday !!

Shows how various factors can affect an attendance. Sky TV, poor form, Friday night etc.

We actually got more for the Catalan game last week.

Flat game, no anticipation at all given the team Cas were sending and having seen our woeful showing at Salford on Monday. People it seems just expected a walk over.

Have to say that if we'd brought the numbers Cas did to a game we'd get roundly shat on by the usual suspects so it brings a wry smile to my face for Cas not to be getting it, although I in no way condone the potential criticism. If they don't want to come they don't want to come, whatever their reasoning.

Castleford could have still been playing until midnight and they wouldn't have scored, but i think most teams would struggle to score without both halfbacks in there, along with the loose forward also missing. There defence thought was pretty good for most of the game though. Huddersfield didn't look overly impressive either, but they did what they had to do, which is all that is needed.

Eddie and Stevo are getting more and more embarrassing every time there on. Just when you think they've hit rock bottom, some of the stuff they come out with is complete e. At one time, Eddie was trying to say something, got his words mixed up about 6 times and then no-one had a clue what the hell he was trying to say. I know they've always been bad, but there going worse.

I watch very little superleague

However Eddie and Stevo are the voices of footy in this country....like it or not.

Eddie and Stevo are like that annoying girlfriend some of you may have once had.

They get up your goat but ultimately you miss them when they have gone
