Firstly, its super expensive for an Aussie to do a tour to the UK.

Second, its the choice between a nice Aussie summer at home or a an English winter.

Last but not least, we have a great NRL season, Origin, we are likely to win the next WC anyway, there is no real drive for us to spend all that time and money to go over in the cold wet weather and sit in poor crowds.

Yes, I agree, those super Aussies should host the tournament again. Every game in 2008 was sold out 14 hours before tickets even went on sale. Thousands of desperate Aussies were swapping their homes just for a ticket!! Oh...wait a minute

You would believe that listening to the Aussies. Alot of the world cup crowds wernt that good at all, it was the big games that bumped up the average crowd, abit like Broncos games seem to bump up the average nrl weekly crowd. Lets face it, Sydney fans arent the best for turning up to a game.
