Why don't they work on a three year cycle, for example:
Year 1 - Hoops or single large hoop
Year 2 - Chevron
Year 3 - Shoulder design.
To illustrate, Bradford: Year 1 - Black, Gold and Red Hoop in the middle of a white shirt. Year 2 - Black, Gold and Red Chevron on a white shirt. Year 3 - Black, Gold and Red shoulders on a white shirt. Obviously the styles would change through the years and it wouldn't be applicable to all clubs, Saints and Quins being two.
