However, it may only be attractive to him because of his roots there. Hull, at the moment, is certainly no better a choice than Salford with regards to on-field attraction.
I'm not going to go into a slagging match about both Cities locales. That wont achieve anything. All I'll say is that the Clubs luxury housing at Salford Quays and its access to everything city centre Manchester has to offer, plus MK's dosh would be more of an attraction to most. Of course, all this is conjecture and I don't doubt that he sees himself going back home at some point. Twelve months is a long time and nobody knows the fortune of either Club in that time, or indeed, the lay of the land come the end of next season.'"
Both clubs are probably in a similar place on the field atm. But I'm sure players don't want to be playing in front of 4 or 5k every week, and the facilities at Hull are very good (I don't know what Salford's are like). I can't deny that there is a lot more going on in Manchester than Hull, but there are some very nice places to live in Hull and the East Riding. Despite what the media often say it's not just council estates and blocks of flats.

I just returned to Hull after 5 years away and it has changed massively for the better, with a lot of money being invested and the city of culture it really is a city on the up.
Still a really cheap place to live, he will be able to get a much better house for his money than Manchester.

The best front row in Super League.
However inferior to Catalans in every other position.

And yet more nonsense spouted Jean.
Because the Cats have signed a World class talent in Carney does not make them a superior team to Warrington bar the front row.I expect they will push for top 4 but i still can't see them getting near the GF.Saints Wire and Wigan should be the 3 to seriously contest that, with Catalan at best a dark horse with Leeds and Huddersfield.Their coach isn't good enough imo and they still have to get more results on the road to get anywhere near.

One of the best front rows in Super League and though rather underrated our back line is pretty dangerous.
Our HB's were our downfall last year but GOB & Myler seemed to click. Be interesting to see if we try Ratch & Myler again since Ratch got the 6 shirt..

If Scott Dureau can regain his 2012 form then Catalans will have the best halves in Super League.
Michael Oldfield was one of the top try scoring wingers in SL in 2014. Villiami Sione Tonga was a State of Origin and Australian rep in the past. Vincent Duport is first rate, and if he is not in the centres (because Todd Carney needs the coddling familiarity of Benjamin Pomeroy at the start) then he will probably be chosen on the wing. Morgan Escare is one of the top 3 full backs in Super League and better than Matthew Russell.
The Catalans back row of John Zebolon Taia, Louis Anderson, Elliot Whitehead, Jason Baitieri and Gregory Mounis is equal to the best in SL, and certainly better than Warrington's. Catalans have two fine hookers in Ian Henderson and Eloi Pelissier, even though neither is quite as good as Darryl Clarke. Only in the props department are the Catalans thin in depth.
Thus my claim that Catalans team is superior to Warrington's still stands.
The only part of your posting that can be defended is your questioning of the quality of Catalans' coach.
As for the Catalans on the road performance, you have mysteriously overlooked their 2014 playoff victories against Leeds and Huddersfield on the road.
So who is talking nonsense?

Catalans still need to find a FB who isn't a complete liability and turnstile in defence.
