More about the stability of the position of the club in Super League with the chaos around P&R

A league that has licences granted and no P&R. You know, much like what we've had for the past 6 years

Not much to show for it has he. Could have built a nice stadium with that cash.....

| I doubt you could buy the land for that amount in or around London, let alone build a stadium.
Without a sugar daddy at least in the short/medium term London cannot survive.
I think though, it will be a massive blow for RL if London Broncos disappear and be more evidence of the inward looking, parochial nature of the sport and its administration.

I'd also like to bring the regal trophy back, rename it the London cup and award it to London every year instead after the challenge cup is awarded. Imagine the new fans that would attract....
Also
I'd like to propose that for every fan London attract to a home game, the rest of the clubs in SL match the entrance fee of that fan.

It has little to do with how many fans London have or even bring to away games. I have already shown many times that London being replaced by say a Fev or Halifax would add less than 1 half or 1% to the turn overs of SL clubs....but narrow minded idiots continue with dreams of 3,000 Halifax fans at Widnes
London s failure is down to a combination of bad ownership/management decisions and the abject failure of the RFL and other SL clubs to understand how to manage an expansion.
The Irony would not be lost on most fans of the sport if after London fold, the TV revenue dropped......given darts pulls in more viewers than SL now, it's not a given that Uncle Rupert will keep upping the cash...

More to do with the fact nobody gives a bollox about attending top flight rugby in the capital city, if more people did then your club would not be on its last legs.

nope...more to do with the fact that the RFL and D.Hughes could never agree on who should pay to market the game in the south when the only real beneficiary was the game itself.
The games where they tried to do something (not arty ing farty viral videos) they actually got crowds in bigger numbers.....the club was never marketed properly.
There are an estimated 1,000,000 expat northerners in London....when the bigger teams visit a decent proportion of "away" fans are in fact, locals....never have the RFL offered to help identify these people, even though they has the details on 22,000 of them from the last Wembley double header.

I freely admit to the club being run by idiots and that includes Branson, who totally ignored everything he has ever done with any of his other brands and simply believed that sticking posts in the ground would attract fans.
Moving from pillar to post was a farce as well. Charlton was always too big, The stoop v1 was a mistake, Brentford was a ground that saw crowds grow (and 2 play-off appearances) and the stoop 2 has been totally ed up by a combination of horrendous decision at both club and RFL level.
London Broncos at the Hive, protected from relegation for 10 years and owned 40% by an investor and 60% by SLE would see the club grow to a self sufficient entity that would deliver thousands of potential new RL players to the game....London Broncos under the sole ownership of 1 man has failed over 18 years.....if it is allowed to continue as that it will continue to fail.
