The top 4 will stay the same but the other 4 places will be interesting, the Knights look out of it but the Panthers, Cowboys and Manly aren't sure to be in there come the finals. Tigers, Souths and the Eels are all winning and playing great ATM and then the Broncos could still get in if they win there last few games but they've got to beat the Sharks tomorrow.

nah, our pack isn't good enough. With the backs we have we are always in with a shot but now our top danger is removed we will have to rely on Slater too much and I just can't see it. I think we will see the Storm slip down the table again over the next few seasons unless some serious recruitment is done but then that os the joy of the salary cap, turning a great team into a mediocre one!

I know they've lost guys like Crocker, Smith, Kaufusi and Sika Manu out for the year is a big blow but they've still got a decent pack IMO. The props are good it's the back row where they're light and really could of done with Manu but they've got the players with the big game experience and that will stand them in good stead.

Cowboys are gone IMO. They lost at home to the Dogs today and although they lost Willie Tonga in the second half the Dogs lost both starting props Hodgson and Hickey in the first half through injury, they dont deserve to be in the top 8 on their form. They cant win away and there losing at home. I've seen them quite a bit lately and the amount of errors they make is killing them, they kid Watts at hooker everytime i've seen him he throws silly forward passes and kicks out on the full at least once a game.
There's too much pressure on Thurston and Bowen to perform and if they dont the Cowboys lose it's as simple as that. Travis Burns wasn't doing anything for them so Rovelli has come in and he's worse, offers nothing whatsoever.

south sydney rabbits lost aswell looks like they are gone

The Eels are now in the top 8 after thumping the Warriors 40-8, they could go all the way the way they are playing.
Also Manly are back in there after beating the Roosters 44-12.
I hope the Panthers beat the Broncos tommorrow.

I just watched the Parra/Warriors highlights on BigPond. Hayne is a god. I haven't checked to confirm, but I think they've only lost one game with him playing since before Origin.
