You could if you owned a 200 year leasehold to sell. It’s something the rfl do do as with Rochdales ground, Keighleys and others so it’s nothing out of the ordinary.
It’s not a peppercorn rent in Bradford’s case and they’ll have earned a decent profit on it by now.
On the equal treatment front I remember Batley and Featherstone not being admitted into superleague because their ground didn’t meet the criteria.
Maybe they should have just said they’re going to do it and then not actually do it. That seems to work.
What do you think old boy?

Yes it is actually.
Box is building one for cas but has done everything to stop trin getting one.
It wouldn’t surprise me if rfl are involved.

You really are an ignorant fool.
Nobody ever asked the council to build us a stadium you absolute cretin. The developer known as Yorkcourt is supposed to build a community stadium for Wakefield in return for gaining planning permission at Newmarket as promised to the department of the environment no less.
They are currently in breach of this and acting illegally which is why Wakefield Trinity stopped them in there tracks by threatening legal action - something the Council should have done but inexplicably failed to do.
The site is worth a fortune and the corruption surrounding it is rife. You will only find one quisling in Wakefield who’d disagree with what I’ve just posted.
You’d know all this if you weren’t so monumentally stupid.

Rochdales ground is owned by the football club as for the others it’s news to me.

have Batley or Featherstone ever been in a position where they were eligible to come into super league. not sure they have. neither have won a potential promotion spot. Dewsbury did around 20 years ago and yes they were denied a place.

Showing your ignorance again.
It was mentioned by RFL in the press release when they bought the leasehold at odsal.
You’ll have missed it though because you were busy spitting your dummy out and writing letters to league express.

| The RFL’s property portfolio comprises grounds and stadia used by both professional and community clubs. These include Cougar Park, Keighley; Spotland Stadium, Rochdale; Normanton, Underbank; Hensingham; Maryport and Buslingthorpe Vale in Leeds.

Is that really best you can come up with?
You’ve been shown to know nothing of what you speak and that’s what you resort to?
Btw that’s what everyone thought when outraged of sandal penned that pathetic open letter.

You are blaming the council then!
That’s this “plan” anyway. Who was at fault for all the other ones falling through?
