no, you wouldnt, that is part of marketing. But if you were, it would likely be a good idea to open a shop in Lahore, and one in Karachi, rather than two in neighbouring villages of Waziristan and then compare notes on how to sell on the dirt road between them, ignoring the third village.

The bottom line is the Championship clubs [ it was only them I was reffering to as you well knew from the start , but you decided to make it messier by bringing the SL clubs into it ] dont have the money or resouces to market themselves properly in their own towns ,let alone further afield [ like Bingley , a place probably full of Bradford and Leeds fans ] , therefore it would be a good idea for clubs to collaberate for the common good [ the common good in this context is to survive as clubs and hopefully become self sustaining ] as the stronger every club becomes the stronger the competition becomes

Now if you think that is a bad idea , you are as big an idiot as the majority of club chairmen , they are the ones tipping endless amounts of money into their clubs with no end in sight just to keep operating

Because SL clubs also exist, in the same sphere as Championship Clubs. in which case (if we accept this premise, and i dont) then these clubs cant be protected. If they arent competent to do anything other than market themselves to a tiny amount of people, in a very specific place then the game has already left them behind. If Keighley and Halifax cant get themselves together to market to a town 4 miles away then we are simply prolonging the inevitable death of these clubs.

Personally, i think they can, and i think they can, which is why they dont want to share their approach to marketing because they both believe they can both attract people from these areas.

ahh, but you arent asking them to collaborate for the common good, you are asking them to help their competitors. Working together to advertise the league, coming together to advertise the games between them, is a good idea.
