| Pathetic from GB. Pathetic team selections mirrors a pathetic attitude. Someone like Daz Clark off the bench could have added some snipe. Watts, dream team forward of the year, highest offloader in the game left out for the carthorse Chris hill. A level of irony that England have been killed by offloads.

He’s been on the floor most of the half...

| How is Hill getting the abuse after that half? Did you not see Thompsons abysmal 8 minutes before he got hooked? I've been saying it for a few seasons now....the 'worlds best prop' is going to have to drastically improve his defence if he wants to make it in the NRL. Sure he'll make his metres up in the last twenty mins though.
Their second try looked a good few yards off.

| Positives are Gildart making plenty of meters, looks sharp. Walmsley making dents in them and Whitehead/Hastings on the left look dangerous.
Coote is anonymous. Doesn’t carry the ball away from the line and hasn’t added anything in attack or kicking. Burgess putting the ball down again is frustrating and losing Thompson so early on doesn’t help.

| Gildart is a strange one. Can’t say I ever notice him when he’s playing for Wigan but When playing internationals he always has a great game

Coote hasn't been anonymous. I've noticed him putting a few shocking high kicks in right into the arms of the full back. I wish he'd been anonymous.
Get Lomax on.
Would prefer to see Hardaker at full back and Connor in the centres.

| I admit that I haven't seen much of Canberra, but Hodgson is so underwhelming whenever I see him. He can't pass from the floor.

I agree. He gets more than enough plaudits from people who know a lot more about the gane than me so I'm not one to slag him off, but it jutdoes my head in how he always has to run 4 or 5 steps before passing. By the time our props get the ball the defence are already on top of then because Hodgson hasn't given them the ball nice and early.
Daryl Clark is a better hooker in my opinion who can still do the same things Hodgson can but also offer even more.

| Agree re Hodgson, he has a few game changers in his locker like a ball steal or a 40/20, but when he pulls an international shirt on he just trys to play too much on his own and his kicking isn't up to it. For me not in the same class as Roby or Clark

Totally agree. Also, how Liam Watts was never selected in the first place is beyond me.
