Basically said it was Hull KR’s Cup Final, Grand Final and World Club Challenge all rolled in to one. Along with a few other whinges.
As I said, disappointing from him as I thought he’d matured past those kind of cheap shots.
In which case the scenario is worse as there’s no real challenge between the 2 clubs in any practical sense. It’s all in their heads and they need to get over it.
I can understand Hull KR using it as a way of providing impetus to their season as they’re playing a rival who is generally ahead of them toward the top of the table.
But Hull FC should not be concerning themselves with a rivalry with at best a mid table team. Not if they want to really challenge at the top.
