Hardaker, 4/5 and the one that missed was from about 3 inches off the touchline and came pretty close.
Felt bad for the Salford kicker who missed a fairly easy conversion by hitting the post then the crossbar & out.

No a different one. The original was, if I remember correctly, quite a big thing and is presumably residing with whoever won it last which is only right. This is A Yorkshire cup rather than THE Yorkshire cup.

| Quote: Him "Yep I think both teams will improve defensively as well. They were both a bit soft in the first half but improved second.
I didn’t see the team sheet for Cas but sounded a decent team from them obviously missing Gale.
For Leeds, I thought Walker, Hurrell, Cuthbertson and Ward all looked very good. Leeds will also look a lot better on the wing with Tom Briscoe there rather than Newman. Cas scores 2 tries from kicking to that side. That’s not a criticism of Newman by the way, he’s a young centre not a winger. Hurrell really looks a handful and any go-forward we’ve lost from Hall should be replaced by him.'"
Will be interesting to see who Furner picks for the 2nd row spots come Round 1 (rest of the lineup looks straight forward atm) Ferres and Sutcliffe picked today but wouldn’t be who I’d go with. Ward will probably start, Ablett would probably but not sure if he’ll be ready to go by Round 1. Cameron Smith should be in contention.

You’re right (for a change) Wakefield did win the last one.
Do you know who holds the record for most wins though?

Highlights of Catalans vs French President's XIII.
www.catalansdragons.com/articles ... nt-amical/
Catalans won easily against a talented President's team. The video here suggests that the halves combination of Samuel Tomkins and Matthew Smith, with Antoine Gigot at full back, is going to devastate the defences of most Super League clubs.

You will definitely be sleepy after you witness the incapacity of Wakefield Trinity to deal with the Catalans attack.

Connor was excellent. hicks was over fussy and should have let the sides play more'"
Why shouldn't Hicks play in the spirit that the rest of the season deserves. It's a trial game for him to blow off cobwebs too.
