Thomas Cook supply flights for Canada. The current flight schedule for Air Transat is no different than normal. Teams are just joining a scheduled flight not a chartered one.

Oxford was the first team to visit in League 1, May 2017. They were put up in student accommodation (which are not dormitories) at York University and their coach complained about the facilities. I understand the arrangements were improved - I'm not sure if they moved elsewhere or are still at York, but I haven't heard any complaints since ... can you enlighten me? (Wolfpack players also stay in student accommodation, at facilities built as the Athlete's Village for the 2016 PanAm games. Just in case anyone imagines they are staying at the Ritz.)
As I understand it, Wolfpack's arrangement via Air Transat is to cover travel & accommodation costs for the clubs in League 1 and Championship. Each club gets 25 free return flights per trip. Clubs pay local travel from the airport, just like they'd do for away games in England.
SL clubs will be responsible for their own travel & arrangements.

Indeed......and the lack of "take up" for away supporters last season has seen the "impact" of providing flights to Toronto Wolfpack and visiting sides almost cut by 40% this year..........some £200,000 or so cheaper for AirTRANSAT.....in retail costs, not actual cost!
From the end of February next year, Toronto will be required to fly between Blighty, France and Canada on alternate weeks....home and away.
12 trips to the UK to play away games and Magic weekend and 11 trips back on the Tuesday to prepare for a home game...let's call it a 30 man entourage at say £500 a pop is £15,000 x 12 is £180,000.........this years scheduling the cost is £30,000........in fact of the £400,000 sponsorship deals value,
AirTRANSAT have actually saved more than 50%....so their MASSIVE sponsorship deal is actually another example of RL fans and admins accepting anything and anyone who claims to be the silver bullet.....
I can only guess which team will play the majority of their away games in SL next year on a Thursday.......allowing them to fly back Friday and get the full week to prepare. If I were a SL chairman, I'd be demanding that teams travelling to Canada, do so on the same day as the Candians themselves...

Using your £500 a pop
Anyway, what does the actual dollar/pound value matter. Air Transat committed to covering the cost of flights for the travelling teams. This they are doing.

At this point, you're right, you can only guess.

Well....when the deal was announced it was rolled out as the biggest in NH rugby League......but like so many other announcements, it wasn't true was it?
First major sports/Professional transatlantic side? False
First Rugby/Professional Rugby transatlantic side? False
All Travel and accommodation costs to be met by the pack? False
5 Year plan to get to SL? False
FISCAL TV deals in place? False.
Rugby League getting a foothold.....FALSE......every aspect of the promotion outside of actual free tickets and hotdogs at games has been hooked and linked to Union.....every single part of it......and the shocking drop in crowds last week to the lowest gate yet shows it.......
...this has been a badly orchestrated charade, by all involved and the reality is that without getting dispensation on both the cap and overseas talent, they will be buried next year in SL........and as for Thursday Away games for the pack....remember where you heard it first.......the flight schedule sits it....and unless they want to change that.....which will be a dollar/pound statement.......it'll be unfilled seats all the way!
Paris and London started with great crowds....but neither fell as sharply as Toronto last week......L

Actually, us Brexiteers are OK with Toronto joining SL. Last time I looked Canada wasn't a member of the EU.

Away teams pay for their portion of travel from Toronto airport to the city. Question
Check in with me again in 2022.

Ha ha, watch out, we even serve Union suds in the Beer Garden.
This may come as a shock, but most people over here aren't going to make an issue of Union vs League. It's not our fight. This is a country where rugby of either code is an emerging sport and anything that promotes one code benefits the other. Trying to graft on long-standing prejudices from the UK will hurt, not help, the cause.
But hey, that England v NZ test, though??
The top sports here are basketball, hockey and baseball. In recent years, football (soccer) has surged and depending where you live, is bigger than CFL. But it took several failed leagues before top level professional football took hold in North America, while the moaners said it would never work
Last weekend it rained heavily from Friday evening through to game time on Saturday. There was a final deluge at around 3 p.m. when the gates opened. Given the rain had been expected and it went on overnight and all day, some fans and especially those with kids would have made the decision not to come to the game. We still got 5200.
FYI, this Saturday's game with Leigh falls on the Canada Day long weekend bank holiday. There will be many other entertainment choices available and traditionally many people leave town. Fans with real interest in the game v Leigh will be there. We're expecting a good crowd. But some people may choose elsewhere ... it's a big city and it will be stinking hot.

The City and County of Kingston upon Hull actually. We're not yorkshire folk!!
But on topic, it won't let me vote and would've voted for Fax and Leigh.

| When you look at the final 5 fixtures between the top 6 (who from 2 to 6 there's only 2 points in it).
Still fancy Leigh who after this weekend don't play another top 6 side. Where as the others have to play at least 2 or 3 games against each other.

| So Toronto’s worst attendance is still higher than Leigh’s best attendance? This is why we need Toronto in sl instead of Leigh. Leigh have had 100 years to get it right and can’t so it’s time they moved over and let a well run club try

| To be fair to Leigh, Toronto’s worst attendance figure was also higher than several Super League clubs.
