Had to happen. One of the all-time great Saints players, and that record remains untarnished. But as a coach has not been able to produce the standard or type of rugby which Saints fans demand.
Most Saints fans will doubtless be feeling an interesting cocktail of relief, sadness and even guilt about this. But few would disagree with the decision.

Very suprised to see Bobby Goulding has put his name forward, won't be long to his Twitter followers start the campaign.
I do wonder if he will either get another coaching job, can't fault his efforts to try and get a job.
