They'll all get a welcome rest next week in SL Round 3.

Looks like another drubbing for Super League and Wigan are three players down.. Final nail in the coffin for those in the "scrap it" camp surely?

First one wasn't a try but not gonna dwell on it. Wigan look a lot better than saints did and there has been a couple of moments of resilience and optimism. Wigan are looking good at the right end just need to convert something of course. If they can come out and have a decent 15-20 minute spell then who knows.

It isn't men against boys. That's just bull. It's excellent play and Wigan being a bit unlucky with injuries. Put McIlorum and Clubb back in and it's pretty even, with Brisbane probably just edging it.

Also, they aren't just "good" lines. It's excellent focus, movement, targeting and starting points. Ontop of very tough and athletic work by the Brisbane pack down the middle.

Willie Isa just limped off following another tackle to the knees like the one last night.

Simple things, done accurately under pressure time and time again. Players need to be able to do that to get a contract in the NRL, whereas kids can come into SL academies with yawning gaps in their skill sets that never get corrected.

That a stand-off who has just played two games for England can't pass accurately to his left under no pressure says it all really.
