Only superstar in the making Anthony Milford, and former superstar Benji Marshall. The top six, by contrast, have numerous sharp and skilful attackers, even if not all superstars.

Silverwood was awful in 2010 when he reffed the WCC for Leeds vs Melbourne and the bad blood/relationship between him and Leeds players (Senior in particular) seemed to linger on for another 2 years before it settled down.

It's clear as day that the English refs get intimidated/nervous about penalising the Aussies like they would do if the offences happened the other way around. Can anybody really say with conviction that the penalties given against Bateman and Tomkins last night would've been given if Brisbane were the team defending???

I blame Thaler, Child,Bentham & Silverwood for not scoring against the Rabbitohs. That's the only reason Saints are behind.

It is a bit like GB versus AUS. The forwards are holding their own, but the backs are just a class apart.

Let's hope Souths switch off a bit now they've got it won, and saints scrape a couple of consolations to keep the scoreline respectable.

Why should it, they will not come across a team this good for at least another year. Any SL game he scores both tries. The top NRL sides are just on a different planet
