In contrast to the entertainment of last night's game, this tonight has been awful. A team expected to do poorly in the NRL, a thoroughly average Brisbane side, have utterly dominated Wigan.

Wigan's pack is a powder puff embarassment, have they even managed to get the ball out of their own half in the second half? They don't seem to have props, there is no one willing to take the ball forward at all, McIllorum has been painfully slow all night as well. Bateman and Tomkins have tried, but the former too lightweight to make any impact, the latter still struggling since his return. Genuinely, with only 5 to go, the only time they've been in Brisbane's half has been through errors from the Broncos.

Do you know who else has been poor? The fans. Very quiet, no support at all. It's like they are still in shock from the whupping they got in the Grand Final.

If this is how strong and disciplined the lower end and mid table sides are in the NRL, Saints really don't have much chance tomorrow do we?

Wigan have been awful.Not faulting the effort but really really poor at the basics and no direction or go forward second half. That is not a great Brisbane team

I can't believe that awful decision to penalise Bateman has made this a draw.

Brisbane will be around the bottom end of the 8, down as far as 10th IMO. Pretty solid, a couple of decent players in Milford and Bent Hunt, but not a side in contention this year.

Wigan don't deserve this, but great try. Clarke hasn't spoken for a while, he'd either jumped from the gantry before the try or exploded in a shower of his own bodily fluids. Wigan really should win this now, Brisbane are without any preparation for this and Wigan really should be the fitter side now.
