| Interesting that Australia's continued and persistent late fouling of the kicker gets a big mention but it wasn't even noticed when they did the same Vs England

Yes it was, cheating Aussie b stards, too numerous to mention the infringements they got away with

| A superb match to finish of what has been the best international tournament for over 25 years.
Quality games with the result's in doubt until the last few minutes.
The sheer power, skill, commitment on view has been superb and Shaun Johnson's magic just put the cherry on the cake.
A pity that our boys couldn't make the final but, a fantastic tournament.
Totally agree with the comments about late hits on Johnson and the officials were very poor in not dealing with this but, what a
superb advert for our sport !

| Great game to complete a fantastic series. Really think the refs should be protecting the kicker though. Also isn't the shoulder charge banned? It was a cracker by the Beast though!

| I got Andrew Voss's call of the game.
Who was calling the game for the BBC?
Also did Ray Warren do the call in Australia on Channel 9?

Who did they choose as Man of the Match?
And what did they say when Shaun Johnson beat Gregory Inglis to score?

They said Inglis is $h1t and overated, like most of the Aussies he cheats as well

I asked two serious questions, and I expected two serious answers.
Please keep your anti-Australian prejudices for conversations with guttersnipe.

They said that few players can do that.
Can't remember who they said was there MOTM but would guess Johnson.

They have done it from game one in this series without an eyelid being batted. The quite often late flops (or was it just laying on) have been ignored as well. Pity the other teams don't learn how to play the edge like that. At least we didn't have the Aussies meeting the refs to discuss the interpretation of the rules, or does that just not get reported nowadays. We did have own refs though.
However, one of the best tournaments in years (4 nations) with pretty close and exciting games till the end (regardless of results). An absolutely cracking final with an Aussie side that got themselves to within a hairs breath of taking it.
Got to say an excellent advert for the game internationally and everything that is good about it, but will probably be ignored here. Can't have anything interfere with the corporate snore fest.
