England having more of the ball but looking less dangerous than the Kiwis, then a combination of tiredness and our best players going off at the end of the half meaning we were lucky to be still in with a chance.
We need to be more clinical and improve our kicking game in the second half and cut out those mistakes. Perhaps then a chance of bucking the trend of not being able to play a full half at the highest intensity.

No one on the commentary team mention Hall knocking on on first showing. IMO the speed he was going in makes it practically impossible to know whether it's grounded or not. The slow motion replay proved it completely, but criticising the ref for not seeing that first time is utterly ridiculous. |

We should have had a pen there for one of the numerous tackles NZ did on players who didn't have the ball.

Without a video referee, that try would've been given which is inexcusable IMO.
NZ scrambling defence probably winning them this game. |
