It's strange how lower salary cap restraints are only concerning to SL clubs likely to be relegated. There was little concern before.
Although the gap will be now where near what it is currently. Personally I'd just scrap the salary cap and have a break even cap, then Championship clubs can spend up to their revenue.'"
Stability, long term planning, the focus on youth, the focus on competing at the top not just surviving at the bottom, stability of income, the ability to negotiate long term deals, any ability to expand in any planned way, the ability to grow in any planned way, the ability for long term planning and marketing of events as nobody knows who would be in them, etc etc,
That's what's lost

It's especially hypocritical coming from you, who has argued long and hard for many many hours that it was only the dream of getting out of the part-time pit village league that kept these part-time pit village clubs alive, yet you think Bradford should accept the opposite with good grace? You want to start moralising and doing down Bradford fans for not being loyal enough to stick by a club being kicked from pillar to post, talk of being loyal coming from a man who brags about not going to games any more just because he doesn't like the league structure?
Ha, I'm embarrassed for you'"
Dont be, you have plenty of your own stuff to be embarrased for
There are several reasons I am not currently Regularily attending Leighs Championship matches ,mostly due to boredom and a lack of intensity , and that might well change with the new structure

Bradford(21) hull fc (1icon_cool.gif and Saints(17) the last of which was the most recent in 2008.
For superleague games and a clubs longest winning runs anyway (I can't be bothered to put more effort in than that)

Remind me which SL team has played the likes of Wigan St Pats, Barrow, Crusaders, Whitehaven, Sheffield, Batley etc etc and lost?
I suspect that if Leigh lined up against SL opposition they'd get a result against London then lose the other 13.....and the London result would depend on home field advantage.

| I wouldn't like to see any club relegated. I don't think relegation is for SL.
Probably London and Bradford will go down but I don't "like" it!

| London have been a joke for a number of years now and it's pitiful to watch a "capital" team fairing so bad. I would like to see a successful London team, I really would, but I feel that the Broncos are too much of a mess to achieve it. Drop down, get a proper stadium sorted, get a good youth system in place (shouldn't be an issue, they have already brought through some handy players) start winning games in the lower leagues and grow a fan base. No new fans will be acquired whilst getting pummelled week in, week out by Super League opposition, winning teams get new fans, they can achieve this lower down. Then when all this is achieved, get a decent backer, get some cash behind a promotion push and do it the right way... Like Widnes have done / are doing.
Would be a shame to see the once mighty Bulls gone from the top division, but it needs to happen I think. Would like to see them come back stronger in a few years time, but feel a rebuild job (financially and on the field) would be an easier task outside of the demands of Super League. The fans are there, the stadium is there, get the basics sorted, get financially stable and we'll see you again in a few years... Only worry is this may seriously dent their youth development and strengthen Leeds significantly, which as a Wigan fan I don't want!

Hull actually only won 13, then lost one and won another 4, still a mighty impressive run that we won't beat for a long time though. Leigh's record is impressive but it's not the same as beating Superleague opposition week in week out.

Care to use the rest of that sentence? I said pitiful effort from a capital team, and stick by it. Consistently in the bottom 3, consistently one of, if not the worst attendances, switching stadia, switching names/colours in a bid to find some sort of identity or stay financially stable. Embarrassment of a professional sports clubs.
Clubs finishing below you comedic gold? Ok so over the last 5 years teams that have finished below you are...
Hudds, Hull FC, Castleford, Catalans, Wakey, Widnes, Salford...
Apart from the quickly forgotten other expansion failure that was the Crusaders, most of, if not all those teams have strengthened (granted some financial issues for a couple on the way), some of them even challenging for honours, but London have been consistently awful.

in that case, perhaps Leeds should be lambasted the same... afterall, it was the same youthful Wigan side that beat them!!!!
Imbicile lol

London have finished in the play-offs twice and second once as well as making a cc final. They are currently debt free without any outstanding debts other than to the owner who doesn't want it back. They have been uncompetitive since the RFL and the pit village idiots made Lenegan walk away.....
The fact that they will be regated is not a comedy at all.......in terms of what could have been for RL in th UK, it is a tragedy.
Btw......Salford, wakey, castleford and widnes from the teams above have a worse SL record than us......regardless of how you skew it
