Peacock went into his shell? He continued to take drive after drive after drive into a hungry set of bloodthirsty forwards. Put in another long stint as well. If anyone went into their shell it was bailey (did he ever come out?) I can't remember a single hit up from him.

Not all leeds fans.
There are some, that would like to see him 'taken care of', if you know what I mean.
I'm not quite sure though, what thuggery is bailey actually guilty of? All he ever does is run into brawls and picks on someone to start pushing and shoving. If that's thuggery, then yes he's guilty. But head high shots? spear tackles? Taking people off the ball?
He's taken people off the ball in the past with barges occasionally, but then, as people keep telling us ''it's not tiddlywinks'', so quite why they start beefing about Bailey I can only assume is because of their own stupidity. He just doesn't do much.....of anything.......and that includes taking the ball up and making tackles.
My beef with bailey is that I see him as a waste of a shirt because he simply adds such little in terms of hit ups and metres. But the way fans go on about him you'd think he went round with sledghammer taking people out. But I really wouldn't complain if someone took bailey out.

You're absolutely bang on. It just is not fair. Those naughty young ruffians from Wigan didn’t let Leeds win like they were supposed to. Didn't they get the memo RFLHQ?
I‘m not going to eat my tea.

Not really though is it?
Peacock was happy enough grabbing Young Bateman around the throat, but doesn't like it when Mcllorum gives him a slap around the chops. That slap around the chops wasn't enough to inspire Peacock to lead his team to victory against a set of kids, infact it had the opposite effect.

Leeds played a game of rugby and there was no gamesmanship or thuggery? Pull the other one.

I hope you do realise that Peacock/Bateman clip was from a previous game.
Did Wigan's forwards better the Leeds forwards? Yes absolutely.
Did Jamie Peacock of all people "go into his shell"?
What was the score AFTER that McIlorum incident? 14-10 to Leeds, so it hardly knocked us or a Peacock out of stride.
Again, because I can predict the usual response. Wigan were better, their forwards were better. But this "we battered Leeds, Peacock went into his shell, we had 57 first teamers missing" is quite frankly embarrassing.

Peacock may have continued to take the ball in (he's far too professional to go missing like Bailey) but the fire and aggression was gone after the initial flare ups. In the previous meeting he had been the niggler, the aggressor, and he'd intimidated a few of our lads. Perhaps he thought he'd do it again but this time the lads had been fired up by "the ape"?
And I've no idea where you got that score from. At half time it was 12-4 to us so how could it have been 14-10 to Leeds earlier on? Leeds were never in front the whole game.

Yes I know the Peacock incident was from the last game, what have I said that makes you think that I didn't know that?
Peacocks a great player and gets a lot of deserved praise for his performances, so is it really unfair to give him some criticism when he gets put in his place by a player who's not gonna back down to him?

The handbags and McIlorum incident happened at 8-0.....Happy To Help. After that Leeds scored 14 points to Wigan's 10......even though Jamie Peacock was apparently in floods of tears in the dressing rooms from then on.

Like I've said the Wigan team and Wigan forward were better, just this Peacock went into his shell and was put in his place is laughable.
Wigan won, enjoy it. You guys don't have to make out as if your Under 12's destroyed a full strength Rhinos team 72-0 though.

I'm no Wigan fan, Hull FC are my team, I'm just judging it from what I saw on the day.
