| Quote: Dico "If Hull fans think Ganson cost that match then it's no wonder you've been small time for a few years now. Of all the excuses you could come up with for blowing that lead in that short space of time, Ganson isn't the problem. The players need a long hard look at themselves.'"
This coming from a fan of a club whose fans were blaming the play off system for motivating Leeds for the reason they didn't get to the GF...
Win a couple of cups, and suddenly Warrington fans think they're "big time" and can tell other fans why their club is small time!

'when my life is over, the thing which will have given me greatest pride is that I was first to plunge into the sea, swimming freely underwater without any connection to the terrestrial world'

| Quote: Young Faithfull "No one is disputing that all those penalties where fair ones FC gave far to many away but you must either be blined or have your rose tinted specs screwed on to not see that Ganson cost FC that game.
But nothing will be done to Ganson nothing ever is this is one of the reason i prefer football although bad decisions are made if one ref keeps making them he will be punished unlike Ganson who makes at least 1 awfull decision a game just to keep things intresting when he on TV.'"
Nothing will be done because we don't have enough referees, especially with Bentham out injured.
The forward pass decision was WRONG, no-one (not even a die hard Robin like me) could say any other, but it was an error that is repeated weekly in our sport, both in televised and non-televised games. If you had been to all our games this season you will have seen some appalling decisions go against us, that on more than one occasion have swung the game away from us. The pass on Saturday must be sickening for FC fans, but hand on heart if it had been the other way and you had won I doubt you would be bothered.

| Some weeks ago, Wire beat Wakey with a try scored at the end of a 7 tackle set; I took to the forum in outrage and bemoaned the lack of quality and consistency in the standard of refereeing. I was told variously that: reffing is a hard job, nobody is perfect, it happens every week, suck it up etc etc.

Unfortunately i have noticed this is increasingly common amongst warrington fans in particular. By no means all of them, many are well balanced individuals who remember all to well were their club has come from. sadly for me, every time i tried to stoke up a bit of banter on saturday i unluckily picked the 'big time' fans with no sense of humour.

Yes, Hull shouldn't have blown the lead (although to be fair one try was scored where there was a Tony Martin shaped hole aswell) but to say Ganson had no effect on the result/game is somewhat daft.'"
Can I refer back to this in future when a ref costs us the game and we are told to 'get over it'

Only if the ref is actually the reason the result changed, and not just for one try in a 50 point loss...

But in the reasoning of some Hull supporters, if that 1 try wouldn't have been scored then Hodgson probably wouldn't have gone on and scored his try. Apparently that gave Rovers momentum. So it could be said if the scores are level with 20 to go and the opposition score a dodgy try then go on to score 2 more, then that 1 dodgy try changed the momentum of the game.

It could be, but it's harder to prove!
Had the forward pass been chalked off, Hull would have had possession, likely played safe rugby and the clock would have stopped Rovers scoring two tries.

I agree with what you say. When we played Cas, they won in the dying seconds with a really good try, classic ball handling, good movement, if it had been us I would have loved it. The problem I had with that game was we were in a good lead when the ref gave a series of dodgy decisions which allowed Cas to claw back to within two points, giving them the momentum to push for a winner. Had the ref not screwed up those decisions, we would likely to have been in an unbeatable lead in the last couple of minutes.
The winning try was a good try, same as Hodgsons, but they should not have been in a position to score it, same as us against you. Had Dobbo's been stuck off, you would have won.

Unlike the Dobbins gang who are convinced that their team are something special.
