| Quote: leeds owl "The best support i've heard from opposition fans in the last couple of years was Widnes last sunday, made a right racket even when they were getting thumped. The most overrated are without a doubt Hull, they deserted their team in droves last season and the KC was like a morgue for their last televised game. The biggest crawlers are Huddersfield....fancy making a banner "well done wire" just to get on telly. I bet they don't have a "welcome to the champions" when Leeds are in town this season.'"
Maybe that would be because you're not welcome.

Maybe "Congratulations on winning the Challenge Cup once in 33 years" would fit the bill.

Shushed you noisy neighbour, and reflect upon the fact, that were it not for the Welsh implosion you would be watching that rag tag assortment of yours down in the championship this season.
On the positive side, I got 10 - 1 from Ladbrokes on Wakey finishing bottom!

You still waiting for someone to pull your pants back up or have you managed it yourself?

I quite like "Congratulations on winning 5 Super League Titles in 8 years".

The last time we played Leigh in the top flight, our coach driver got lost and in order to get to the ground in time for kick off, we picked up a ranom Leigh supporter about 3-4 miles from the ground, who happily got us in sight of the car park and then asked if we'd drop him at the pub, which the driver did. Cracking lad, could not have been more helpful, now you wouldn't get that in football !'"
Yes you would, typical b0llocks about football stereotypes by a Rugby League fan, I spent half my day at Wembley last week with Cardiff supporters and had a right laugh, most pubs in London were all Liverpool and Cardiff mixed, kicking footballs around, drinking and generally having a good time. Take that "family game" chip off your shoulder.

| The only place I've ever had any bother is at Headingley when I was randomly punched by a Leeds fan.
I can't say any one club is better than another. Obviously the clubs with larger fan bases are going to seem more intimidating.
I personally don't like going to Wigan, but that's only because of the stadium not the supporters. You will need a bigger specialised group to get any atmosphere in there!

Yeah but for his specific example of a fan of a rival club climbing aboard a supporters coach in football to direct them to the ground?
I travel with Leeds United quite a bit, and it gives me no pleasure to say that this simply would not happen in football.
